crowd.jpgIn a previous post on this blog I argued that Google and Yahoo are ultimately pursuing very different strategies for organizing information on the web. Google is pursuing an algorithmic approach and Yahoo seems focused on human-powered strategies.

Today we have an article from Wired that talks about using people to search, sort and segment information found on the internet. The best real-world example that comes to mind is Mahalo (another start-up courtesy of Jason Calacanis).
